TRAVEL TO ITALY

All guests should plan to arrive via Naples Airport (NAP). There are few options to get to Positano: Via car which is approx. 1 hour 20 mins) or via public ferry (approx. 1 hour 15 mins)

In order to enter Italy your passport will need at least 6 months past your date of arrival - please ensure yours isn’t close to expiring!

For those traveling from the US please feel free to reach out to the lovely mother of the bride, Sharonkay, if you have questions regarding your determined flight routes, as she is quite literally a travel agent and more than happy to help.

Please be mindful that some flights from the US are overnight - double check that your arrival date is the 19th - not the 20th.

FLIGHTS

Car transport

This will be the fastest option to get from the airport to your hotel/airbnb. Please be advised this car journey is a little over an hour with significant twists and turns so we highly recommend staying OFF your phone and looking straight ahead to avoid any car sickness.

There are several reliable transportation services but here are a couple we recommend or have used in the past. Feel free to reach out to others who are arriving around the same time and share transport etc! The bigger the vehicle - the smoother the ride. Depending on what hotel you are staying at - they might provide transport from the airport as well. Both options below have standard cars and vans for around €120-150

Ferry transport

There is another option to take a public Ferry from Naples airport to Positano. This Ferry is 1 hour and 15 minutes. You would need to taxi from the Naples airport to the Naples ferry port which is a 25-35 minute taxi depending on traffic.

Visit www.directferries.com and find a time that best suites your flight arrival in order to plan your ferry departure time. Once you arrive at the port of Positano you will need to hop on the bus that loops around town in order to arrive at your designated hotel with your luggage.
